David Conner & Associates have been assisting the City of Safety Harbor, Florida in their efforts to transform this quaint Historic downtown into a business and pedestrian friendly community.  Our most recent accomplishments include new downtown business signage program and two streetscape extension projects.  The original streetscape design project for which David Conner worked to complete as a member of a regional design firm included reconstruction of the roadway pavement, sidewalks, and all utilities for 3400 LF of urban road.  New lighting, landscaping and furnishings were added to the street to encourage pedestrian activity both during the day and in the evening hours.  In 1997 the project received an Honor Award from the Florida Redevelopment Association for the best beautification capital project statewide.
